Since more than one user has expressed troubles understanding it, I have assembled a quick tutorial on the matter of groups and user permissions.

Kudos NeXus! I've long been an advocate for more user friendly tutorials.
However I would suggest that you elaborate on the anonymous and registered user masks, when creating new groups through the admin group manager.
Since there would be many occasions where administrators may not want group leaders changing permissions of the global anonymous and registered users.

I'll see what I can do. I have been busy with my PhD (finally over) and I have started working again on the new version of FUDf, but I guess I can find a few minutes to update the tutorial.
