ERROR: System Error [message #4226]

Hi

I just installed the forum on my own webserver.

Everything wrosk just fine. But....

I cannot create users. When I have filled in the registration form, and press enter, I just see the COPPA Cornfirmation page again. And no new user is made.

When I log in as root, and want to make a new thread in the "Testforum" I get this error:
ERROR: System Error
System error has occurred, please report it to the webmaster.

What's wrong ?

I use php-4.2.1, apache 1.3.23-14 and mysql-4.0.1-2 on an redhat 7.2.

Jelu can you please check your apache log file for any PHP related error messages, or header related error messages.
Also, look inside the forum's errors directory there may be some files in there.
Send me errors.inc & error_dialog.log is they are there.

In the errors directory, there are only one file called FILE_LOCK.

In the apache error log, nothing related to php is found.

solved =)

Through support from prottoss on IRC, the problem has been solved.

It showed up, that it works, if you enable file_uploads = On i php.ini.

Why this have to be anbled, may be a bug in PHP.

Further questions to prottoss ;o)
