Two things I have been wondering is the question about spiders and the numbers of bots that are registering.
Are fake users not deleted ? Are they just let them be ?

Not sure where they come from - luckily they are harmless.

See "Unconfirmed User Expiry" in the Global Settings Manager.

You can also use the User Pruning ACP to remove users without posts that haven't visited for a while.

yeah exactly that was my concern too, that arent fake users not deleted??
