Problems with PATH_INFO temlate set [message #10584]

Searchengines ignore my forum

I tryed use PATH_INFO style URL

I test my server from CP - test say OK, i see main page of my forum

I follow to your recomendations:

But i don't disable old themes, because many users was online.

Links was changed to new style: http://linuxportal.ru/forums/index.php/f/55/rid=5

I click on the any link
Page was reloaded, but i still stay on the same forums main page - i can't enter in any subforums...

You can see my server configuration:

If you do not disable the old themes the users using those themes will see urls which are a mix of PATH_INFO and normal urls, like:
http://linuxportal.ru/forums/index.php/f/55/rid=5

You also need to make sure that the PATH_INFO based theme is made the default theme.

I disable all non-rath_info themes
Enable only one path_info based theme, called "russian1251"
In global settings set "Enable path_info" to YES
BUT, if I enter in "global settings" again, i see settings of "Enable path_info" like old (NO)
I change this parameter manually in GLOBALS.php

Same result Sad

links likes as http://linuxportal.ru/forums/index.php/f/55/rid=5

When I click on them, page just reload...

Why CP cannot change settings of "Enable path_info" in Global settings"?

access rigths of GLOBALS.php are 666, owner "www", like other FUD files

Hmm... could check that the GLOBALS.php inside the adm/ directory is actually a symlink to the GLOBALS.php inside the include directory?
And that the GLOBALS.php inside the forum's root directory is a symlink the GLOBALS.php in the include/ directory as well.

Partially problem solved - registred user can use forum.
After remaking symlinks to GLOBALS.php.

BUT, anonymous users cannot browse forum. After any click main page just refresh.

Awaiting your help.

I change row #462 in index.php
before:

define('_rsid', ''); define('_rsidl', '');

after:

define('_rsid', '1/'); define('_rsidl', '');

Now guests can browse forum

One more bug:
If PATH_INFO is default template, images with SRC-path like

<img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif" border=0 alt="Rolling Eyes">

not work

The image url bug in PATH_INFO is fixed in later releases. The anonymous user problem is something I cannot replicate.
