Using a vanilla installation of FUDforum 2.5.0RC6 (latest CVS), without any settings changed, I cannot post. I click "New Topic", fill in the fields, then click "Create Topic". Then I get this page:

<br />
<b>Warning</b>: Cannot add header information - headers already sent in <b>/home/devin/public_html/fud/theme/default/post.php</b> on line <b>3993</b><br />

I'm tring to post a message subject 'test', body 'test', in the testforum, acting as user 'admin'. The system information page has this:

Do you see any text prior to the warning message?

I cannot replicate the problem using the today's CVS version of the code.

Do you use any special settings when posting the message (file attachments, polls, make the message announcement, etc..?).

Nope, I just followed the instructions to make the install script. Using compression resulted in corrupted archives, so I didn't use it. Then I filled in the fields for data directory, etc... all chmodded 777.

I'm using cgi and apache2 and no safe mode; maybe that would make a difference with headers. I know with mod_ruby, headers are sent differently then when using the cgi interpreter.

I downgraded to apache 1.3, and used mod_php. Now it works. Perhaps you should mention in the release notes that it doesn't work with CGI (as I suspect). sorry if you already do.
