If I optimize my themes, I am not longer able to post on the forum. If I click Rebuild Theme, the forum appears to work properly again. Rebuilding and then optimizing causes the problem once again.

FYI.

Which version of the forum are you using? And do you get an error when trying to post (PHP error) or something else?

2.5.0 is the version I am using.

The error is seen while trying to post a topic or reply:

-- cut

[Mon Jul 7 09:38:24 2003] [error] PHP Notice: Use of undefined constant newfud_msg_edit - assumed 'newfud_msg_edit' in /home/cm/www/forum/theme/default/post.php on line 289
[Mon Jul 7 09:38:24 2003] [error] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/cm/www/forum/theme/default/post.php on line 289

-- cut

The page simply comes up with no data... that error is from the PHP log.

PHP 4.2.3

I have to "rebuild" the theme to make it work.

Another error I see in the logs:

-- cut

[Mon Jul 7 09:36:33 2003] [error] PHP Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/cm/www/forum/adm/admthemes.php on line 171

-- cut

/home/cm/www is a link to /var/www/cm

Could this be an issue?
