In my global configuration for FUDforum, I have "Display IP Publicly" set to no. Despite this, in forum postings, people's IP addresses do show up, as you can see here:

http://www.sbml.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=8&start=0&rid=2

Why is this the case? How do I turn off IP display next to people's names?

You see people's IP because you are the moderator/administrator. Regular users cannot see them (that's what disabling of IP displaying does).
