When I click Next at step 1 of the install.php, I get this error message:

At the same time the directory � forum � got created on the server but now I can't delete it. I suspect that the � mkdir() � command is not properly written. It should be like this: mkdir($dirname, 0707);

Thanks for responding.

When do you expect the next release? With this problem, I am unable to install FudForum.

There is nothing that you can offer so that I can install Fudforum properly?

I also tried to install it on my PC that is running under windows, but it can't execute the commande symlink and the global.php didn't get created.

Does that mean I have to give up hope on installing it till the next release?

I am used to install programs manually. So if there is a way to get a zip file of an installed program from someone, I would be able to install the forum manually, myself. The database got created properly.

Can anyone help me on this? If you would like to send me your zipped file, please send me a message by private message and I will send you my email address.
