Unread messages never clear [message #13037]

I obviously have something local happening here which is hurting me Sad

Now the "Unread Messages" option refuses to clear itself after displaying the list of messages - IE, if I keep pressing the "Unread Messages" link I am presented with the same messages over and over. If I gon into each forum and read new messages, THEN the unread choice doesn't show those messages..

Any ideas on where to start looking please?
