I use FUD 2.5.3 rc3 and the charset is gb2312,it is simple chinese, two-bytes
when post a new topic in editor ,if there r 1 or 3 or 5 etc
char ,Fud cannot show chinese correctly,but if there 2 or 4 or 6 english char, it show chinese well.
it is a problem of multi-bytes char,can u fix the problem for me ,thank u！

why it is ok here ,but this is what show on my site:
本rpm包包含主程序包及所依赖的包。如果你在本系统上存在一个mpl ayer，请把这个mplayer删除。同时把用户目录下的.mplayer目录删?１緈player包含了win32、qt6、realplayer 、skin、chinese font。能加的基本上都加了，无需再装其它插件。本mplayer通过我?薷脑创耄饩隽诵矶嘧远龆曰翱虻奈侍狻１緈player对pentiu m3处理器进行特别优化。在Pentium III、Celeron2、Pentium 4、Athlon-tbird、k7、Athlon-tbird XP、Athlon 4、Athlon XP、Athlon MP处理器平台上运行性能会更好。但请注意不能运行在i686及以下的 X86平台上。本rpm包在redhat linux 9第统上编译。当然也可安装在redhat linux 8上，但你必须升级你的glibc版本至 2.3.2。在这里可以升级： http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/li...8.0/en/os/i386/ 其它与redhat linux兼容的系统(如redflag linux 4.0)也可用这些包升级。安装：tar zvfx mplayer.tar.gz cd mplayertmp rpm -Uvh *.rpm #如果题示有依赖包未装，这些包在rh9安装盘中都可找到。当然你也 可加上强制安装参数：--nodeps --force 但我不保证你的mplayer能顺利运行。如果你的系统是redhat linux 8.0，请把包中libXv.so.1拷至/usr/X11R6/lib目录下： cp libXv.so.1 /usr/X11R6/lib 好了，安装完成了！执行mplayer可启动文本界面的mplayer，执行gm player可执行图形界面的mplayer

Unfortunately FUDforum's theme editor cannot handle multi-byte characters. However, you can fix it, if your PHP has mbstring extension enabled and you tell PHP to overload standard string manipulation functions with the ones provided by mbstring extension.
