In RC3, if you create a theme whose name contains a period, PHP will translate the period to an underscore but FudForum thinks the theme directory is the period version and everything breaks.

Apply the attached patch to users.inc.t and rebuild the theme.
The long term fix will be to disallow any non A-Za-z0-9_- characters in theme names. I am not sure why I allowed them in the 1st place.
