I installed 2.3.8 (I'm switching hosts and want to bring the data over from the old host). I did this once before and it worked fine, but I wanted to forum to reside in it's own subdomain so I decided to reinstall, directing the installation to new folders.

When I'm all done with the install, and it's time to login (the last step in the install process), the forum's index.php program display the source code on the browser intead of executing it.

What causes something like that to happen?

That means that .php are not being parsed as PHP scripts.

Is this a folder-related thing? Because I have other php programs running on other folders that work fine. In fact, the install.php, which was on another forlder, worked fine.

What do I have to do for it to parse in the folder it's now?

Don't know, that is already something depending your webserver/php setup.
