i have a problem on the private message page - when i open a private message, then the information in the header/footer gets mixed up with the info on the rest of the page ---

i have the main links in the header/footer ( i think it's the footer actually ) and they appear in the page instead

this is just when viewing a private message

the rest of the forum ( all pages ) doesnt have this problem - maybe it's my programming and not a bug - would you look at it though ??

thanks

Probably a problem on your end with your customizations.

had a good look at this and i'm pretty sure the problem is with the forum

Confused

here's what i did

there hadn't been any customisation done at all to the default template or theme so i set the forum so it would display these as default .. ( thus no customisation !! )
now i put a line of text at the end of the footer just before the </body> and the </html>

this text should be the last thing drawn on the page ... correct

however; when i read a private message, this text is clearly drawn inside the last display element, not outside it as it is when you are doing anything else on the forum (other than reading a private message that is)

i figure that if i put a simple line of text into the end of the footer that it should display at the same position each time and i dont see anything that i could have done wrong in such a simple customisation ( but i will go into details with you if you need verification ) ------ so i am going for the idea that it's a bug of some kind ... Neutral

would you look into it, thanks ??

it is clearly viewable on the page

you will see the line
"test text here test text here test text here test text here"
last at the end of the page - but it's not last anymore when you are viewing a private message ( you have to be actually viewing one of the messages - just being on the master pm page doesn't produce the error )
