Hi,
My ISP is having some difficulty in determining the correct forum data root path for my non-browseable files. Would this path normally be completely different to the server root path? Can someone provide an example of each?. I have tried via smartftp to create a non-browseable dir above the root, but no success.
Also, for the server root they have created a new dir below the normal root to put browseable forum files in; i.e. /www/business/4857 is now /www/business/4857/www. Now the previous forum www root value; e.g. http://www.mysite.com, has errored - says WWW_ROOT does not correspond with the SERVER_ROOT path.
Thanks,
Rob

Could you please send me the 'corrupt' install.php and/or tell me what is the output of the following command:
md5sum install.php
if you do not have shell you can get this via the following PHP script:
<?php echo md5_file("install.php"); ?>

If your ISP allows you to have .htaccess you can disable them yourself.
