Hmm the description appear to be incorrect, BUT I do not see them being switched on either this forum or my test forums I use for development. Which version of FUDforum are you using?

Ok, thanks. One more thing though.

I know this isn't related but is there any options for installing FUDforum without using the installer script? When using that all the files are chowned to nobody (what the webserver is) which makes it nearly impossible to chmod/chown to somebody/something else.

Nope. There is an experimental install-cli.php, which would install the forum over the command line, but it's untested code at this time.
