Hi all,
I have installed fud and converted my forums over from phorum. When logged in as admin I can post and all is fine. When logged in as a normal user, when I try to post I get the "You've followed an invalid link," error.
When I make the user a moderator of a sub forum, he can post to that one, but not the ones he isn't a moderator in.
Presumably this is a permissions problem, but the error isn't clear. Any ideas?
Regards.

Sounds like a permissions problem, use the group manager the check the permissions of regular users for the forums in questions. Make sure they got posting, replying, etc... permissions.
P.S. Which version of FUDforum are you using?

The permissions appear to be in order. Try running the consistency checker once more, it may resolve the problem. If it does not, wait for 2.6.0 release and then upgrade. Then if the problem persists we can try to trace it.

I've ran the consistency checker and then the optiizer. I now get a blank posting showing

This is on posting. When you then look at the thread again, it doesn't even show the blank message.
When will 2.6.0 be released?
Regards.
FYI: Nothing in the inbuilt error logs in fud.
