Just installed a copy of 2.6.0RC10 on my localhost and I must say that I have never had such an easy install of a forum in my life. The only quirp that I have is that when I visit the admin cp the page freaks out and starts flashing like crazy like it's trying to reload the page wicked fast. It does this like 20 times in under 5 seconds and finally stabilizes. It also continues to do this when I select anything in the admincp area as well.

The forum side is sweet though. Any ideas? Confused

Shocked

Well, ok, once I download it again I will have a look.

I had troubles with the 2.5.1 xlib zip file so im downloading the latest without zlib.

got a fast machine + using apache2 ??

just a guess but I had the same issue & have it with other apps as well (eg phpmyadmin) under apache2 (but only on a decently fast machine (XP2600 + 1GIG))

my 'solution' is to stick 'ob_start()' at the head of the $DATA_DIR/include/GLOBALS.php (&& config.inc.php 4 phpmyadmin)

but mostly (at least in my case) I think its an apache2 sapi issue
