Hi all,

I have a question regarding creating users when syncing NNTP. If I have the NNTP sync script create users for each post that it imports does the forum email each user in order to tell them a new account was created? I want to avoid having the forum send out a bunch of unnecessary email so I wanted to double check before leaving the software to import a bunch of messages overnight.

What I want to happen is have the script create new users but do it silently. If that person comes to use the forum instead of their newsgroup reader or Google Groups then they can have the forum send them a new password at that time.
