When attempting to move one or more messages from one topic to another, FUDforum asks me to Quote:Specify the ID of the destination topic (can be in other forums)
How do I determine what the proper "ID of the destination topic" Is?

naudefj wrote on Mon, 19 October 2009 00:00Look at the URL. For example, th=???? on this forum.
No luck!
I wish to move several jokes from one thread to another whose url is XXXX/index.php?t=msg&th=508&start=0&rid=6&S=1223c85cc3df56a 9700727caabf6799e
So if I understood you correctly the Topic ID would be th=508, but it still does not work all I get is the error msg "You have followed an invalid link. Please notify the webmaster how you got here".

Great that works, I was making it way too complicated.
"ID of the topic" is the number located between th= and the ampersand in the url.... I got it!
Looking around it appears that similarly the category ID would be the number located between cat= and the ampersand in the URL
And that the forum ID would be the number after frm_id= and the ampersand.
Thanks bunches
