Hello again,

When posting, I just about never use the Message Icons, Smiley Shortcuts, or Formatting Tool buttons. I much prefer to simply add the markup elements by hand while typing. If I need to know the syntax then I can just open the help and get it from there.

Is there a way to reduce all that clutter for my account? I realise some people like these but I'd love to be able to turn it off for my account. Perhaps an option in the Control Panel for this.

I also have some users who say those icons take 5-10 seconds to load so they'd like to have this too for speed purposes.

Cheers,

James.

You can always remove them from the Template Editor ACP.

Right, but that removes them for everyone. I can see that some users would want to use them. But others (like me) have no use for them.

James.
