I'm sorry, but I have a problematic e-mail on my network. The network have an e-mail-blocker, so you can only use the service providers own e-mail server.
I can send e-mail using my e-mail program, and that is Thunderbird. The Thunderbird settings are:
Server: smtp.glocalnet.net
Port: 25
[X] use name and password:
( ) No
(X) TLS, if possible
( ) TLS
( ) SSL
In addition to this, the "server" seems to arbitrarily reject e-mails; so you have to "no response from server" "resend e-mail" to make it work. The same when I read new mail: the server say "no new mails in inbox" and then I update again: "found 45 new e-mails".
Most or you Readers see what the service provider Admin is up to here!
(1) I fail to find any extremely detailed info on how to set up the forum e-mail; especially on the "No, TLS if possible; TLS; SSL" selection.
(2) If the Server is intentionally set up to reject e-mails, unless you are stubborn and resend them, we may (I, especially) need a server queue with outgoing e-mails, that can be sent later.
(3) Several "home" internet service provider's in Sweden have set up using fire-walled or blocked e-mail. This possibly save you all from some bulk e-mails!
