Hi, i'm new with FUDforum... I think FUDforum is great Forum software, but there is some questions that i want to ask to you all :

1. How to add Group stars? (ex : junior member, 3 stars... Admin, 8 stars, etc). Usually below username.
2. How to change template?
3. How to enable addthis and repcapthca plugin? it alwas show error message, "please configure wikilink plugin, blablabla..."
4. Is this software is really secure as you say on wiki?

That's all... Please help me.

Sorry for my bad English, thanks before.

There are different types of tags available, "Custom tags" (assigned via the User admin system http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/User_Administration_System ) and "Posting ranks" (assigned via the Rank Manager in the admin control panel http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/Rank%20Manager ), they can be either text or graphics.

Custom tags can be a simple text name or title or it can be a graphics image which is located within a browsable directory on the forums installation (/theme/default/images/ has 5 stars gif's already loaded but you can create or add your own)

Use html code such as
<img src="http://fudforum.org/forum/theme/default/images/5stars.gif"></img>

Which yields this: http://fudforum.org/forum/theme/default/images/5stars.gif

Posting ranks can likewise be a simple text name or title or it can be a graphics image uploaded to the domains image directory (since it would be within the default directory structure all that is needed is the file name and extension as in "5stars.gif" if the image is within the image directory.

Posting ranks are set by the number of posts made,

How to enable addthis and repcapthca plugin? it alwas show error message, "please configure wikilink plugin, blablabla..."

How to enable plugin's
Although it is not specified the available plug-in names are links to where your plug-ins need to be configured and each one is different. Simply click on the plug-in name to configure them for activation!

The wikilink plugin will need either http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ or http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/ added before the addthis Plugin will activate (and I'm sure there are other wikis you could use depending on the subject of your Forums).

Recapthca requires registering with that service and entering the code provided for you (I prefer not to use that particular service)

Add this requires the wikilink plug-in to be configured 1st then the addthis plug-in can be configured and added.

Make sure you rebuild all themes when finished.

It's generally your server that needs to be secure. It's no use bolting down the forum if your os allows hackers in. There are many utilise out there to analyse your server config
