how do i create a custom pathinfo theme? i see no html in the path_info tmpl files. do i have to merge by hand the default templates with the path_info templates? i'm wanting to make some fairly large changes, so i'm assuming i'm going to copy a lot of the files rather than the odd one.

that'd become REALLY messy!

Default inheritance is
path_info -> default
or
my_theme -> default.

Touch ".path_info" will change the inheritance to
my_theme -> path_info -> default.

ok, but i still don't understand. what files do i copy and put into a new template directory so that i can edit the html? and .path_info goes into the root of the template directory or in the tmpl directory?

Copy .path_info from the path_info theme into your theme's directory.

You also need to copy the files you want to change (override) into your theme's directory.

I think this is documented somewhere on the wiki (will try to find the URL).

ah ok thanks.and i copy the tmpl files from the default directory, not the path_info theme as the latter doesn't contain html right?
