url tags and {link} not working on feed capture [message #164860]

Greetings.

I have an rss feed that I am importing into a forum that has bb-code turned on. At the bottom of each entry, I have this code:

[url]{link}[/url]

The feed treats the url tags as plain text. It doesn't do anything with them. Same with {link}. I can't get the link to become "live" unless I re-save each individual message.

Any ideas why the system treats url-tags and {link} as plain text only?
