Hello,
I have the permission setting to "edit messages" set to N for a group of users. However, they can still edit messages that they create. Is there a way to not allow this behaviour?
The reason being is that these forums sync to nntp and there is no way to sync up these edits. So I'd much prefer to have the users forced to create a reply to correct errors. That way, my forums are in sync with nntp...

To answer my own question:
In General Settings Manager, go to "Message Settings" section and set "Edit Time Limit (minutes): " to -1.
Confirmed that this works and accomplishes what I was looking for.
