naudefj wrote on Fri, 02 September 2011 10:47This theme is part of the default install.
Go to the Theme Manager, edit and change the Template Set to "twilightgrey".
Umm...Errr I'm seeing it as being the default blue theme! Twilight is not an option in profile?

Anik wrote on Sat, 03 September 2011 00:21yeah because the twilightgrey is fully different than this one..
They normally use only one color theme, set up with multiple languages, Page info tells me they are currently using "theme/English/forum.css".
But since this is still an RC release I imagine they're still ironing out the wrinkles, and are using default during the transition.

Anik wrote on Sat, 03 September 2011 02:20i tried to increase and decrease the margin and padding but it doesn't get worked..
Theres more than one place!
naudefj wrote on Fri, 02 September 2011 11:32Looks like it may be a different header.tmpl.
Compare the default header vs. that of twilightgrey.
I presume you have done that and they are the same, and that you are using 3.0.3RC2, and that you are using an unmodified English default theme!
I've been unable to reproduce your problem, even on a fresh installation, but then I delete the cherub and the colored background on mine.
So if it's the CSS I'd check down around line 634 or so, but off hand I'd guess you're not understanding how the templating system works too well, neither do I .... I t still bumfuzzles me.
Just make sure you save before you work and remember to rebuild your themes.

I think I found your issue! During the upgrade to 3.0.3 final release I found among the many redundant i18 images and other redundant files at least one unused copy of "slate blue" which reflected an overly large header as in your image.
I had to go to the theme directory to delete the files manually then rebuild the correct theme using the correct tmpls in order to correct it!
I suggest you do the same, I'm guessing you have a header for one theme combined with the CSS or the override for another in your theme directory (See naudefj's comment above).
After deleting the offending theme go to Template Editor> create a template set based on path info> go to Theme Manager> add a new theme based on the new template set you just created!
If this theme is intended to be different than the default copy the needed files from that themes "thm" directory into it! (I copied i18/img/eng, /images, and /tmpl/forum.css.tmpl for a twilight theme)
Rebuild and test!
