I've FUD F. 3.04 with configured severals newsgroups with news.eternal-september.org.
For some of these I see a lot of messages, even of today.
But for some of these I see only one message of 2009.
The strange thing is that with Thunderbird I'm able to read all the messages for these hierarchies and the thing more strange is that for these hierachies the unique message is always of 2009.

But in FUD F the config of these newsgroup are the same of those with the full message list.

Some idea?

Have you imported all the messages? Any errors during the load process? Can you post your config so we can try to simulate the problem.

Newsgroup: it.comp.os.linux.sys (and also it.comp.java)

In Linux I've only one msg of 14/3/2009 (user clowesc1977)
In Java I've only a msg of 18/2/2009 (user dontcare)
For other newsgroups I asked from 2000 to 15000 msg but Fud F has downloaded from 70 to 1.600.
In these cases at least there are also msg of today.

This is impossible!
I've just (in this moment) subscribed in a new newsreader (always Thunderbird) this newsgroup for ALL the headers. 1676 post!
Then I've subscripted it.comp.java, always with ALL headers. 588 post!

But I've just noted that the first post is that one in FUD F (14 March 2009).
Then the second post is at 8 Dec. 2011.
In Java the firs is 18 feb. 2009 and the second always 8 Dec. 2011.
In both cases the second message is 8 Dec. 2011, other 2 years and half after the first message.
Perhaps this can disturbe the FUDF.

If you think that the problem is in the newserver, please suggest me another free newserver. I need only about a dozen of technical newsgroup, mainly in Italian hierachie.
