used to use
width:80%;
margin-left:5%;

in the forum css, now it does not work

Stuff in 'forum.css' should disappear very time it's rebuilt from the 'forum.css.t' template. To solve the problem, you need to always update the templates file.

Besides, if you use the default theme, you're at our mercy. We update this theme with each release. However, you can always create your own if you don't like the way we style it.
