Hi,
I can't backup the files in my forum. I keep having the error :

504 Gateway Time-out
The server didn't respond in time.

Could you point me to a fix of this or is it something I must ask my provider to look into ?

cheers

You need to go back to your provider. This is their problem.

If you have SSH access, run the backup from the command line.
Also see if you can spot any problems in your web server's error log file.

Thanks for the answer. Just a question again. They do a files and database weekly save, would it work to set back the forum in case of a big fuck-up, or only the FUDforum datadump tarball would work ?

The forum datadump should be enouth. However, if you are as paranic as I am, you would also backup the database (mysqldump) and files (tar, cpio or whatever) seperately.
