Because the HTML5 Slideshow w/ Canvas& jQuery is coded is such a way
that browser features are not properly detected or they are detected
properly but discarded in favour of other browser; or the code uses some
features no supported by those browser; or the code it contains errors
and doesn't really work on any other browser; or the code did not fully
load due to network errors.

You forgot about alien abduction.
That happened to me once, after asking HTML/Javascript oriented
questions in a PHP newsgroup.

Because.
Also what's your php question? Please post the php code that you think is
not working correctly, and explain why you think it's not working
correctly.

For scathing comments I suggest you raise this "question" in c.l.javascript.

Rubbish. You were simply subjected to Anthropogenic Global Warming.
Or as they used to call it, you were 'elf shot'
These things are a matter of fashion. Aliens are not currently
fashionable as explanations for anything you cant explain. Nor are elves.
But you can explain everything with AGW.

So, TNP, you turned into an Alien-Abduction-Denier?
Well, that figures!
You Anthropogenic Global Warming spinner are the same: all communists
who want to kill babies to steal money from honest working taxpayers for
your "research" so you can teach our kids our grand-grand-grand-parents
were apes!
(Sorry if that was gibberish, I am still practicing my Teabagger-ish.)
Something tells me we are getting off-topic....
Well, that fits nicely with the original post then. :-)

Makes as much sense as anything I've read on a eco-blog.
Probably more.
The word you want is 'watermelon'
Green on the outside, red on the inside , and not much use for anything
except kicking to see it burst.

*shrug* I am sure his high Stuckleness will be along to lay down
Stuckles Law.
Its dull, the only light relief is to be had looking at the protests
strikes and the antics of the Euroleaders (aka 'sheep') as the rush
around bleating madly looking over the cliff edge and then running slap
bang straight at the wolves again.

First catch your donkey.
Then fix him between the poles. and dangle a carrot in front of his nose
on a fishing rod.
Then with luck he will follow the carrot dragging the open cart behind
him,and you will work with your open cart.
(Hint: open carts are NOT good in the rain, and donkeys are less
reliable than politicians when it comes to faithfully following apparent
selfish gain: However donkeys try harder.).
