Number of users - about 270
Number of posts - 12950
Number of topics - about 1330
Server - Celeron 1.2, 760 megs of RAM
Forum is on postgreq, not mysql

But - there is a lot of photos in posts...

It was quick and good. Now - page generating takes more than one minute (even 90 seconds sometimes). We have good connection (server is connected to 10mbit cable directly via edge router), so it's not a connection problem. Also our webpage (www.blizniaki.net) loads OK. The only problem is with our forum (forum.blizniaki.net).
Any ideas? Where to check? (we are just users, not professionals Wink and when there is a problem, we have to ask friendly admins to help us to solve it - so now I try to find out, where the problem could be before asking them... Wink )

1) Check if the PHP on your server is using an opcode cache, by installing an opcode cache such as MMcache, APC or PHPA you can gain massive performance increases as far as any PHP script goes.

2) Look @ your MySQL load, I know forums far larger then yours that experience no load problems what so ever.

3) If you are using PHP-CGI see if your ISP could be convinced to install PHP as apache module.
