Search for web bug, or user trackers - a technique a web programmer should know.
It is normally coupled with ads, in this case it is aggressive advertising.
Just imagine you are going into town, walk through some shops. Somebody is following
you, taking notes where you are stopping, and what you are looking at. Then this
somebody is trying to sell you something you "certainly" want.

I assume, M. Strobel uses "Ghostery" or something similar and found out,
that the document at the URL above embeds elements from ad-servers or
social network services:
- Disqus
- Facebook
- Google+
- Google Analytics
- LinkedIn
- nRelate
- StumpledUpon
- Twitter
The problem with these "trackers": If you allow cookies to be set by
these services, the services will log that you visitied this particular
web site and recognize you again when you visit another site using the
same trackers (e.g. Facebook).

Assuming right.
I wonder how much visits to your web site - and how much ad revenue - you get with a
promotional post like this. But I guess visitors will not come back, the content
density is near to warm air.

Thanks for elaborating on what 'you' meant by tracker. My knee-jerk
reaction was thinking of torrents or Mad Jack and #7.

Actually, it's not "his" definition. It's a quite common meaning,
especially in the marketing world. I'm surprised you haven't run into it.
