I just inherited the admin responsibility of a fudforum site (2.8.1) that has a fud26_ses that is 1.6GB in size. I've read there is a bug that causes this and an upgrade is certainly in order, but I need a quick fix to get the hosting company off the site's back for exceeding its size limit.
This looks to be a session table of what should be temporary data. What are the ramifications of dropping the table and recreating it from using the output from a "show create table fud26_ses" command?
Is there any other better options?
I'm a newbie to FUDforum but not to the technology behind it.
Thanks.
