I've updated, but have the same problems. Any other ideas?

Did you run the synchronize tool in forum's admin options & rebuild the theme?

I get the error: "referenced file named (curtime.tmpl) doesn't exist"
The file is not in the default theme, but in 2 others (not in use - the default theme is the original theme)

Hi! Sorry for my late answer, but summer sun and holidys Very Happy

I had to upgrade to a newer version of eGroupWare. I tried almost 20 hours and than gave up and installed the new version (I think I was one of the first, who downloaded it Laughing).

With this version (0.9.x) everything was fine. But after upgrading to 1.0.0.004 of eGroupWare everything was getting real strange.

After doing a fresh install (for testing purposes) the only thing that didn't work correctly was FUDforum. There were many errors in the .php files (?> was inserted on places where it was totally wrong - shame on the eGroupWare developers). After correcting that, I felt happy und started some testing (bad experience^^). And here's what's going on:

- I start with a post (only content: "test"). Everything's fine.
- I go some way further and write a litle text (about 20 words). Everything's fine.
- I write some bigger text (about 100 words). And there's the crash.
FATAL ERROR: system has ran out of disk space

The directory "messages" is writeable for the webserver. I tried this with and without an existing "msg_1" file in the folder. Every time same problem.

One thing I also noticed. If I "post" one large word (approx 1k lines of 1234567890) than the error doesn't occur.

I would be glad if you have any solution for me.

BTW: with eGroupWare 1.0.0.004 FUDforum 2.6.0 is shipped. A pure update doesn't work, because of the changes from the eGroupWare developers.

BTW2: I'm using PHP 4.3.3 (CGI) & Apache 2.0.48

Disable mbstring, egw devs enable mbstring with function overloading, which means if fudforum charset != the mbstring charset string functions start reporting bogus values.

Hi Ilia!

Thx for your help. I disabled the mbstring overload in PHP and afterwards it worked...

*phew*

Do you know of any side effects on eGroupWare if I disable it? I had to set the option during install (eGroupWare required it).

I hope there's nothing (better to say: I PRAY Very Happy)

Unless you are using multibyte languages there shouldn't be any problems.
