Connection Timed Out [message #18927]

Hi All,
I try to install FUDforum on my webserver but I'm stuck on step 1 with the error "Connection Timed Out"
after I run install.php the first page popup with
Server Root: /usr/homepages/weronet/wew/
Forum Data Root: /usr/homepages/FUDforum/
Forum WWW Root: http://www.weronet.com/wew/
after pushing the next button I get the error-mess "Connection Timed Out"
if I check .../wew/ the /adm and /images is created also the /usr/homepages/FUDforum/ is created and not empty.
I try to set all dirs to chmod 777 it does not help.
So I guess it is some with mysql connection but I have no change to input some pwd or user??
or is it possible the reason is because homepages/weronet/wew/ is a symlink from /usr/homepages/weronet/wew/? but all other pages are working.
B.W. I have a Forum installed on the same server weronet.com/forum but version 2.3.8

Retry the install, it is possible the server was loaded and your connection timed out before the installer could complete it's job.

Can you try installing the forum from the non-zlib version of the installer. Do you have a PHP error log file?

I try the non_zlib (FUDforum_2-6-4.tar.gz) but it did not helped. PHP(ver.4.3.4) error file shows no errors, I checked all logfiles but I could not find any error mess related to this action.
One is unusual, I chmod the /FUDforum dir to 777 but after running install.php again it is set back to 711 and empty!!!? I guess that means install.php is changing it but can't write in.
The owner of /FUDforum is www so it should be writeable!
I run www.weronet.com/wew/phpinfo.php but could not find any.
I don't know what else I can do?

Very strange error, if you can give me access to the server where this is happening I can try to debug the problem. Other then that I have no other suggestions for you at this time.
