The whole website revolves around myself and my friends that play online games (mostly starcraft). Installation was tricky since I'd never usedd MySQL before, but eventually I got it. The formatting is very strange too, so I'm still cruising with the default. Also can't use the Admin Controls with Mozilla, but can with IE 6 and Konquerer.

It's gonna be:

if I can ever get it installed and migrated from phpBB.

Still working on it but haven't given up yet.

http://morph.bio.sunysb.edu/forum/index.php

This forum is used by researchers interested in the field of geometric morphometrics (the application of new statistical methods to study variation in the shapes of biological structures). It is a somewhat technical subject so users need a place to ask questions and get help. We have just started using this forum so there are not many users yet. Eventually expect several hundred. We used other forum software a couple of years ago but it died due to lack of support by the developers of the forum software. I am pleased to see that the FUDforum software is being actively developed.

Our main homepage is http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/morph.

Eventually this is going to be the forum for a live-action role playing game. I have to do some hacking to allow a player to post as one of their characters rather than as their username.

BTW should the name of the forum be InStallation Issues? Wink

Love this forum

My modified board is up at:
http://gukaluka.ostabil.nu/gukaforum/

Added a "Private Forum" feature.

I haven't bothered much about the layout yet, it will come.

Oh, and its a Guild board for my friends in my guild on the game Everquest. A little game I try to relax with when not coding.

Here's a site at http://www.comebackandplay.idleplay.net/forum or http://66.177.85.38:8080/forum .

Just a forum for chit chat with friends and programming since I'm releasing a 2D chat program soon that I'v been developing.
Not much there yet but will be.

That's a great idea! I'm not quite sure which php document changes the headers, colors, table setup (I haven't read carefully enough, I suppose). However, it would be a great feature to have a page where these settings can be configured.

BTW - which files do I edit to change the colors of the table?

Read the documenation, FUDforum has a very flexible and powerful templating system allowing you to change more then just colors butthe entire layout of your forum.

Yeah, but pople are too lazy to do that, find the right template and everything that goes with. like sb, you shoose the colors from one page. that would be very nice if fud had such feature, changeing colors then would be a breaze!

a bored for my friends, etc, etc.

i'm an experienced user of Linux, and run a postgresql database on the backend. I am flabbergasted by the professional quality of this board -- especially since it's opensourced, and to top it off -- all of the users like it, too.

In most cases, open-sourced projects are light on the user-interface design, but FUDForum has it in spades.

Frankly, i love it.

i have set this forum up for a special needs support group.
it's pretty much finished, what do you guys think?

i really love the FUD set up. what an awesome piece of software it is!!

i only wish i could get my hosting company to enable pspell..
they have aspell enabled, but of course would have to restart the sever to enable it and that would affect too many other accounts Sad

thanks for all your tremendous effort.
