Brian Connolly is threatening users of Mambo with mails in SCO fashion.
He will likely be in court with one of his previous contractors.
The reason for doing this is, that he believes code in the Mambo codebase is derived from the work this previous contractor did.
If you will work for him, you will likely put yourself in harms way, and by all probabilty you can't donate any more code to the fudforum codebase.
I conclude Brian does not acknowledges the GPL, and he's explicitly expressed that he thinks that derivative code, based on GPLed sources, can be put under a restrictive license of is choosing, so that he can dictate who uses Mambo and who not.
