Hi. I've set "Enable Spell Checker" to "Yes" in the admin area
but the "Spell-check Message" button still won't display like
it does on this forum.

Isn't that (enabling it) all I have to do? Or do I need to
install the entire forum again? (I remember having a field
related to the spell checker in installation, but not during
my last upgrade.)

Please help, and thank you.

Namaste,

Please go to the System Info section of your Admin Control Panel and see what it says about PSpell Support.
If there is no PSpell support, spelling checks aren't available so my guess is that you're missing that module.

Hi there.

Thank you! It says "no" for Pspell support. So does that mean
that Pspell needs to be installed on the server? I have aspell.

Thank you again, and I appreciate the speedy reply. : )

Yeah, if it says "no" for PSpell then you need to install it in order for spelling checking to be available. Smile
