we have a situation where we would like more than one person to recieve e-mail confirmations for new accounts & new posts.

is this possible to do?
if it is, how could i set this up?

For new posts, just have all the people you want to be notified subscribe to the forum/topic.

As far as e-mail confirmation, I suppose you'd need to ask the user during registration step for a 2nd e-mail address and modify the code to send e-mail to that address in addition to the primary address.
