I upgraded from some version (I can't believe I don't remember which one) to 2.6.8 and it completely killed the default templates. Now I don't get any graphics indicating which sections have new topics.
On top of that I've noticed that my last group doesn't show up. I have three groups "Bell's Mind", "Scanning Projects", and "Asterisk". After the upgrade "Asterisk" disappeared. To fix it I had to add another group (I called it "Hack") that contained a forum (which is also called "Hack"). After that "Asterisk" showed up again and the Hack group showed up with no forums.
In any case, is there a quick way to restore my templates? I just upgraded to 2.6.9RC1 to see if it did it automatically but it doesn't look like it did. I really hope I don't need to delve into the source to fix this.
BTW, my forum is located at http://www.bellsmind.net/FUDforum2 if you need to take a look.

It seems that somehow your forum display listing got default to "compact" view. To correct this go into the category manager and change the category view from "compact" to "open".
