Threaded view - How to stop threads jumping to the top? [message #22074]

When one replies to an older message on the board, the relevant thread always jumps to the top in threaded view - is there a way to force this not to happen, so that even if people respond to older threads the message stays where it is?

On my forum which is very busy this is a much easier way to keep track of posts/replies - there is always the notification system to inform a poster if a reply has been posted.
