Just upgraded to FUD 2.6.12,
Now when the ./forum/scripts/maillist.php 3 script is run to insert incoming mailling list messages, the followoing error occurs (in the log file):
Quote: | (./forum/include/theme/default/db.inc:123
./forum/include/theme/default/db.inc:90
./forum/include/theme/default/imsg_edt.inc:508
./forum/include/theme/default/imsg_edt.inc:50
./forum/scripts/maillist.php:464
) 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '{SQL_TABLE_PREFIX}fl_5 WRITE' at line 1
Query: LOCK TABLES {SQL_TABLE_PREFIX}fl_5 WRITE
_GET: 3=&
Server Version: 4.1.8-standard

I have run the "Forum Consistency" option as well as the optimizer.
Any ideas what would cause this error?

The error seems impossible, since it seems to imply that the theme compiler string {SQL_TABLE_PREFIX} was not converted to the appropriate global value.
As hard as I've tried I cannot replicate this bug on my test system.

Ilia,
Thanks for the tip about the theme compiler.
The error is possible when someone attempts to update/patch FUDforum that doesn't understand where/how to install updates, how the themes work or that they need to be rebuilt after an update is made.
I had incorrectly installed the updates from updates #3477 and #3479 (copied the updates into the theme directory).
To correct the problem, I put the updates in the correct src directory and then rebuilt the theme.
Everything is working as expected now.
Sorry for wasting your time.
