Would it be possible to add light bulbs next to compact forums so that users can see whether there is anything new or not without having to click on each individual forum?

Best regards.

Hi Ilia,

What I mean is that users cannot see if there are new messages in forums within categories with "Default View" set to "Compact".

Compact Forums are listed on one line. It would be great if you can add some kind of indicator to show if there are new posts in these forums or not. A possible solution would be to add a light bulb next for each forum on this line.

Best regards.

That may work if you 1 or 2 compact forums inside a category, but not if you have 15-20 of them...

True, how about using a smaller light bulb icon for compact forums; or maybe different colors (i.e. red might indicate new messages).

Best regards.

How about a non-graphical indicator such as "**" beside forum names containing new posts?
