I imported the smilies from my phpBB installation. What causes a smiley code to be invalid?

In FUDforum smileys are separated (if you have >1 code per smiley) by ~. I suspect one of your smileys ends up with "~", which makes forum create an empty smiley resulting in the error you are seeing.
