I've just upgraded FUDforum to the latest 2.6.15 release, and I've noticed that messages are no longer in a single file. It seems each time a new message is posted, a new file is created. Is this normal?

However, if I send a private message, it still goes in the same file private.

There is also something, which isn't that important, concerning the display: now when I'm logged in, I always get horizontal scrolling bars.

No, in the new message storage schema each forum has it's own message file.

I see. Well, as a matter of fact, I had a better look at the messages files, and it seems to work as you explain. Smile

Of course, all messages prior to the forum update are in the file msg_1.
