Had an uneventful install session with the latest release of FUDforum-2.7.0 until this error stopped the installation:

Failed to import default data ("INSERT INTO fud26_stats_cache VALUES(0,0,0,0,0,0,0)") into table def_stats_cache, 
SQL Reason: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

I've looked at the SQL command syntax in my download and it appears to be OK. What do you think?

BTW, the installation is going on a RedHat fc-II box, with php-4.3.x and MySQL-3.23.x.

Fixed in CVS, 2.7.1 will be relased momentarily with a patch.

Got your reply and just downloaded the 2.7.1 patched release. I'll go and give this package a go in a few minutes and report the results.

OK, your patched FUDforum-2.7.1 release has done the trick for me. This package installed without errors and has produced a fine looking and great running forums engine, albeit only lightly tested on my server.

I'll take time to tryout all or most of the features and bring any problems and comments to this support forums board.
