I have redesign of fudforum look for I still the variable nearly finally now {VAR: r[0]} in index.tmpl.

In order to then use the function of the shortened location reference from the Usrinfo.tmpl.

It should look then in such a way:
>> last post title... (max. 20chars) (dynamic)

Does someone have a fast solution for me?

Thanks in advance

If you are using 2.7.2 you can do:

{IF: strlen($r[0])>20}{FUNC: substr($r[0],0,25)}...{ELSE}{VAR: r[0]}{ENDI}
