Here's another one for you. When you change the color of a user's link, it will let you do this only once. You can change it again and again but it will remain the same color, even though the database reflects the newer color selections. Rebuilding the theme does not resolve this.

I suspect you are looking @ the cached data, wait for the cache to clear or disable caching of the 'who's online' list.
