Hi,
I´m sorry, but I don´t understand that whole group-permission-thing.
For example:
I add a group and edit all the permissions. That´s ok.
BUT when I add a user to that group, I have to edit all the permissions again. I´ve the group is "view - No" and the user has "view - yes" (which is the default), all the permissions for the group are useless.
How can I add a user to a group without changing his permissions until they match with the groups permissions?
Can I inherit group permissions to the users?
And another thing:
When I add some new categories they are viewable even for the users that schould not be allowed viewing them. Can I add these new categories automatically, so that they are not viewable?
Thank you very much for fast help.

Once you add one user to the group all subsequent users will by default have the same permissions. The group manager takes default values from the user added last to the group.
You cannot automatically hide them.
