Is it possible to perform a backup of an older version of FUD (say 2.6.14) then unintall it, do a fresh install of a newer version (say 2.7.3) and restore the 2.6.14 backup into the 2.7.3 forum?

The reason I ask is that I think I have some fundamental problems with my current installation of FUD. I believe the problems stem from my having initially created the tables as InnoDB instead of ISAM. Now I'm constantly having problems with updates, consisteny checking, etc.

Thanks for your help.
Ken

No, in 2.6 or lower series of forums the source and destination forum versions must match.
